Promisetown Tales
Promises
To Leave You Reeling!

(as originally published on the
now-defunct themestream.com)

October 6, 2000, Washington, D.C.  -- Michael Walker, author of the already popular writer_mike's world, today unveiled a new column, Promisetown Tales.  He's calling this a serialized narrative and it promises to be one hoot and a half.

The story takes place in Promisetown, a land that author Patrick Boast says  "is more of a fiord of my imagination than anything, a calcium spur on the surgicized bone of my dreams. It is a place where mental images are forged but where they can also be burnt away. Like water evaporating from the surface of a hot tar roof at noon on a Palm Sunday in the Big Apple."

Join all Themestreamers as they read the riveting accounts of at least three writers living their lives in this amazing town.

So far we know that Cynthia Wiles Hemingway writes the overall story and that Maxwell, a local escort and writer tells his own tale, adding his own slant on it all.  Other characters have yet to be revealed, but Walker promises us that they will all astound the readers in this continuing story.

Oh, and one other thing that should interest Themestream readers; Walker plans to make some of you intergral parts of the story.

Sound scintillating?  It is.  Race right now the table of contents for Promisetown Tales and keep keep keep keep reading!
